Ryan Toolson to join Unicaja Malaga

Ryan Toolson (193 cm, Utah Valley’09) has agreed to terms with Unicaja Malaga from Spain’s ACB and will be joining the team in 2013-14. Toolson, who was an exceptional freethrow shooter during his time in the NCAA, is making the move from Herbalife Gran Canaria 2014, also from ACB.

Toolson logged 38 games for G. Canaria 2014 during the 2012-13 season and averaged 14.2 ppg and 2.3 rpg. The team made it as far as the semifinals in the 2013 Spanish Cup (Copa del Rey).

In 2011-12 he played in Turkey for Aliaga Petkim (TBL) and averaged 17.3 ppg and 2.8 rpg in 29 games.
