Ryan Thompson moves to Oostende

Ryan Thompson (198 cm, Rider’10) is moving to Telenet Oostende from Belgium’s Ethias league for the 2013-14 season. He is making the move there after playing one season for Generali Okapi Aalstar (Belgium-Ethias) in 2012-13.

Thompson was able to represent Aalstar in 10 EuroChallenge games and he hit averages of 15.1 ppg and 3.8 apg. In the Belgian league he logged 31 games and averaged 18.3 ppg and 3.3 apg. He helped Aalstar reach the Belgian League semifinals and the Belgian Cup finals in 2013.

In 2011-12 he played in Italy’s Lega Due for Centrale del Latte Brescia where he played 30 games and averaged 14.1 ppg, 1.6 apg, 2.6 spg.
