Ryan Reid stays with Chorale de Roanne

Ryan Reid (203 cm, Florida State’10) will playing one more season with Chorale de Roanne Basket from France’s ProA. The American player who has roots in Jamaica, had his contract renewed by the team for one more season.

In 2012-13 Reid played off Roanne’s bench and logged 30 games in the French ProA, averaging 6.5 ppg and 4.1 rpg. In April 2012 he played a five-game stint with the Mets de Guaynabo from Puerto Rico’s BSN and he averaged 2.0 ppg and 4.0 rpg.

He spent most of the 2011-12 season playing in the NBA D-League for the Tulsa 66ers. He played 24 games for them and averaged 12.2 ppg and 8.6 rpg. He was called up to the NBA and was able to play five games for the Oklahoma City Thunder in January 2012 and he averaged 1.6 ppg.
