Ronnie Burrell is signed by BBC Bayreuth

Ronnie Burrell (204 cm, NC-Greensboro’05) has signed a two-year deal to play for BBC Bayreuth from Germany’s BBL. The 29-year-old Burrell is coming off playing two seasons for EWE Baskets Oldenburg, also from Germany (BBL).

In 2012-13 he averaged 8.2 ppg and 4.0 rpg in 15 games in the EuroChallenge. EWE Baskets got as far as the semifinals in the EuroChallenge this 2013. He averaged 9.6 ppg and 4.3 rpg in 44 games in the German Bundesliga. In his rookie season with EWE Baskets he averaged 12.5 ppg and 5.5 rpg in 11 EuroChallenge games. He logged 29 games in the German league and hit averages of 12.4 ppg and 5.4 rpg.
