Ronald Yates to Geneve Lions

The Lions de Geneve from Switzerland’s LNA have acquired the services of Jamaican-American player Ronald Yates (201 cm, St. Peter’s’05) for 2013-14. Yates is making the move after playing the last two seasons for Benetton Fribourg Olympic. He also started the 2013-14 season logging nine games for Fribourg. In those final games he posted solid averages of 14.4 ppg and 7.7 rpg.

In his 2012-13 stint with Fribourg Ronald averaged 13.1 ppg and 6.0 rpg in 33 games. He also helped his team reach the Swiss Cup and Swiss LNA semifinals, as well as the Swiss League Cup finals in 2013.
