Rob Chubb to Giessen

German Bundesliga ProA team the Giessen 46ers has bolstered its roster with the addition of Rob Chubb (208 cm, Auburn’13) for the coming season. The rookie center is fresh from college and recently completed his final season with Auburn. Over 32 games in his senior year the young American tabbed numbers of 8.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game. It was a similar story during the 2011/2012 season when Rob Chubb played 31 games and averaged 8.1 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.

Giessen head coach Denis Wucherer welcomed the player to the club.

“Rob attended a renowned university that competes in one of the best conferences in all of college basketball. He has made strides every year that he has been at Auburn. He is a classic center who will be an anchor in the paint with his size and athleticism.”
