Richard McConnell joins Telekom Baskets

Telekom Baskets Bonn from Germany’s Bundesliga are bringing in sharpshooter Richard McConnell (189 cm, St. Mary’s, CA’11) this 2014-15. He has had some previous international experience playing in Italy’s Lega Due earlier in his career. Richard was released by the Dallas Mavericks in October 2013. The guard then signed with the Frisco Texas Legends (USA-D-League). As a member of the starting five, McConnell produced averages of 10.2 ppg and 6.4 apg through 50 games.

In 2012-13 Ricard was on  the roster of Tezenis Verona (Italy-Lega2) and managed to average 13.6 ppg and 2.7 apg in 32 games.
