R.T. Guinn comes to Maccabi Ashdod

It’s going to be Israel for R.T. Guinn (208 cm, Baylor’04) and not Poland this 2013-14 as he signs to play for Maccabi Ashdod (Winner League). He began the season slated to play for Stelmet Zeilona Gora. The 32-year-old big man is coming off an eight-game post-season stint with Pananthinaikos Athens in 2012-13. He was added by the Greek club in May 2013. R.T. had a limited role off the bench and averaged 3.6 ppg and 2.6 rpg. Panathinaikos went on to win the Greek league championship in 2013.

Before joining Panathinaikos Athens, Guinn began the 2012-13 season playing in Ukraine’s Superleague for Ferro-ZNTU Zaporozhye. He logged 52 games for them and averaged 14.6 ppg and 6.0 rpg
