Real Madrid is guaranteed to top the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague standings at the end of the Regular Season. The club defeated Fenerbahce, while nearest rival CSKA Moscow fell to Panathinaikos. There is still one Play-Off position up for grabs. After defeating Unics Kazan, Crvena Zvezda Belgrade faces a do-or-die clash with Darussafaka Dogus Istanbul.

Elsewhere, Baskonia went big in offence to see off Galatasaray, while Milan collected a rare win with success against Zalgiris Kaunas.

Galatasaray Istanbul vs. Baskonia Vitoria, 80-103

Galatasaray’s recent good form was snapped by a fantastic offensive display by Baskonia Vitoria. The Spanish club dropped over a century of points. Despite this win and moving to 17-12, Baskonia will miss out on home advantage in the Play-Offs. It was a scoring triumph for the visitors as they secured their highest points total this season and its fifth best road haul this century. Baskonia controlled the game, leading double digits for long spells and by as much as thirty points in the fourth quarter.

Crvena Zvezda Belgrade vs. Unics Kazan, 83-65

A slow to start Crvena Zvezda saw off Unics Kazan in a cruising home performance that moves the Serb champs to 16-13 in the standings. The club occupies the eighth and final Play-Off berth, but has not yet qualified. A do-or-die clash against Darussafaka Dogus in Istanbul to decide which club progresses. The hosts only scored 10 points in the first quarter, but then drained 30 points for a 40-31 lead through the long break. Unics Kazan rallied to lead in the third act, but Crvena Zvezda snapped into action with a 26-3 run that killed the game for good.

EA7 Emporio Armani Milan vs. Zalgiris Kaunas, 88-84

Milan picked up a rare win by taking out Zalgiris Kaunas in a clash between two eliminated teams. The Italian team snapped a 7-game losing streak and collected its first road win in 14 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games. Zalgiris took a 11-point lead in the first quarter, but Milan came back and no team carved out a lead bigger than 7 points again.

Panathinaikos Athens vs. CSKA Moscow, 85-80

Panathinaikos is now alone in fourth place and can grab home advantage next week. With this loss, reigning Turkish Airlines EuroLeague champions CSKA Moscow slip to second place, where the club will stay no matter what happens in the final round of the Regular Season. The game was decided in an overtime period after an exciting contest between two of Europe’s giants.

Real Madrid vs. Fenerbahce Istanbul, 61-56

Real Madrid edged past Fenerbahce in a game to forget. However, it was also a game of significance and Los Blancos ensured itself as the 2017 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season champs. The club is now ensured first place. This was Madrid’s lowest scoring effort on the continent in four seasons, but it was still enough to see off the Turkish champions.
