Kris Richard signs with SIG Strasbourg

Kris Richard (196 cm, G) is on the move to France. There he will join SIG Strasbourg and coach Lassi Tuovi. Strasbourg is currently fifth in the ProA standings with a 16-7 record. They were eliminated from Champions League play earlier this month in the semi-finals.

Richard played this season in the EBL in Poland as well as the VTB. He played 23 VTB games for Zielona Gora. Kris Richard averaged 10.7 ppg and 3.6 apg in just over 28 minutes per contest.

In the previous three seasons, Richard played in Romania for Oradea. In each of those seasons, he also played in international play. The 32-year-old American also holds a Romanian passport.

Kris Richard played college basketball at Tulane where he averaged 10.8 ppg and 6.1 rebounds his senior year.
