Jim Boylan fired by Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks have announced that interim coach Jim Boylan will not be coaching the team this coming 2013-14 season. Boylan has been an assistant coach with the team since 2008. He was handed the reigns to the club after they fired Scott Skiles in early January this year.

In spite of being able to guide the team to the NBA playoffs for the first time in three years, Boylan still fell short of expectations as the Bucks ended up finishing with a third-straight losing season and being just dominated by the Miami Heat in a first-round sweep (0-4).

The Bucks have a good stable of talent led by Monta Ellis, emerging athletic forward-center Larry Sanders, dynamic Ersan Ilyasova, and newly acquired shooter JJ Redick. The franchise is now looking for a new coach to guide the team to, hopefully, a more competitive next season.
