Pierce Caldwell moves to Liepajas

Pierce Caldwell (191 cm, Incarnate Word’10) has left Krybasbasket-Lux Kryvyi Rih from Ukraine’s Superleague and joins Leipajas Lauvas from Latvia’s LBL. He transfers to Leipajas after playing 17 games for Krybasbasket in the 2012-13 season, where he had averages of 8.6 ppg and 2.5 apg. In 2011-12 he averaged 11.1 ppg and 3.1 apg in 27 games for Krybasbasket.

This is not the 25-year-old Caldwell’s first stint in Leipajas. He joined the team in January 2011. In 24 games in the Latvian League, he scored 15.8 ppg and dished 2.8. That season the team made it to the Latvian League Semifinals.
