Othello Hunter signs with CB Valladolid

Othello Hunter has signed with CB Valladolid (Spain-ACB) for the 2012-13 season. Hunter (2.03m, college: Ohio State) played his final two years of collegiate basketball for Ohio State, then went undrafted in the NBA draft. He was picked up by the Atlanta Hawks to play on their summer development league team and averaged 13.2 points per game over six games. The Hawks offered him a contract and during the 2008-09 season he got court-time during 16 contests and then saw action in eight games during the 2009-10 season before getting released. He got signed by Greek squad Ilissiakos B.C. to finish off the 2009-10 season and moved to Italy to play for Dinamo Basket Sassari during the 2010-11 campaign. Hunter next took his talents to China to play for Shandong Lions before getting picked up by Ukrainian squad BC Azovmash to finish off the 2012 season.
