Omar Kayem newcomer to Prievidza

Omar Krayem (186 cm, California Baptist’09) has signed a deal with BC Prievidza (Slovakia-SBL) this 2017. He is a Palestinian-American international player who was a former member of the Palestinian national team in 2011 to 2013. In his debut game for Prievidza, Omar scored 14 points and pulled down 3 rebounds.

Prior to this run, Krayem was with Globalport Batang Pier from the Philippines’ PBA, but left shortly. He spent the 2015-16 season on the roster of Boras Basket (Sweden-Basketligan). Omar played 10 games for them in the FIBA Europe Cup, where he averaged 20.4 ppg and 4.4 rpg. In 27 games in the Swedish league, Krayem registered averages of 16.0 pg and 4.4 rpg.
