Oliver LaFayette joins Valencia

Oliver LaFayette (188 cm, Houston’07) will play in the Spanish ACB next season after agreeing a deal with Valencia Basket. The guard spent last season in Lithuania with LKL giants B.C. Zalgiris Kaunas where he played 16 LKL games and averaged 7.9ppg, 2.1rpg, and 3.2apg. The American was also in action in the VTB United League, playing 26 games and recording averages of 8.3ppg, 2.5rpg, and 3.5apg.

Zalgiris also competed in the Euroleague last season and Oliver LaFayette featured in 23 games with averages of 7.9 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game. The 29-year old has previously played in Poland, Turkey, Serbia, Mexico, and the United States with the Boston Celtics of the NBA.
