Oleksiy Pecherov joins Krasnie Krilya

Oleksiy Pecherov

Ukrainian big man Oleksiy Pecherov (213 cm) has been added by Russian club Krasnie Krilya Samara this 2013-14. Pecherov has been a member of the Ukrainian National Team in 2006, 2009 and 2011 to 2012. He began the season playing in Spain’s Liga Endesa for Valencia Basket. Oleksiy played three games in the Spanish league and averaged 7.0 ppg and 1.3 rpg. He also managed to play in three EuroCup games for them and there he averaged 10.0 ppg and 2.7 rpg.

The center played the 2012-13 season at home in the Ukrainian Superleague for Azovmash Mariupol. In 32 domestic games Pecherov averaged 11.6 ppg and 4.9 rpg. He played six games for them in the EuroCup and averaged 11.2 ppg and 3.8 rpg.  He represented his club in 10 VTB United league games and posted averages of 10.4 ppg and 4.8 rpg.
