Allerik Freeman joins Shenzhen Leopards

Guard Allerik Freeman and the Shenzhen Leopards of the Chinese Basketball Association have finalized a contract.

The second-year pro began the current season with Bursaspor in the Turkish League. In 14 games, the North Carolina State product averaged 18.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 1.0 steals for Bursaspor.

Last season, Freeman competed for Alba Fehervar in the Hungarian League and provided 14.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in 29 games. He also contributed 17.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 4.0 assists in 18 FIBA Europe Cup contests.
