Mike Tobey links with Valencia

Mike Tobey (213 cm, Virginia’16) has been picked up by Spanish club Valencia Basket (Liga Endesa, EuroCup) for the remainder of the season. The American prospect will join the team as it presses for the EuroCup title, with the semi-finals to tip off next week. Mike Tobey is in his rookie season in pro hoops and has played for the Charlotte Hornets in the NBA this campaign.

Over two games with the franchise, the power forward averaged 1.5 points and 1.0 rebounds per game from limited minutes. Tobey played his senior season with Virginia through 2015/2016. Over 35 games he logged 7.2 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.
