Michal Ignerski parts with Virtus Roma

Virtus Roma from Italy’s SerieA is parting ways with Polish player Michal Ignerski (207 cm, Mississippi State’03). The Italian club originally signed Ignerski to a one-month deal and has opted not to keep him for the remainder of the 2013-14 season. Before his departure, Michal was able to play in four games for Virtus Roma in the Eurocup and averaged 7.8 ppg and 2.8 rpg. He also played four games in the Italian SerieA and hit averages of 9.8 ppg and 2.3 rpg. Ignerski was signed by the club in early October this 2013.

In 2012-13 he played for Banco di Sardegna Sassari, also from Italy’s SerieA, and averaged 12.2 ppg and 4.7 rpg in 29 games. In six Eurocup games he averaged 8.3 ppg and 3.8 rpg.
