Canadian NBL team London Lightning have decided to part ways with Maurice Carter (183 cm, Robert Morris’05). Carter is an American player who also holds a passport from the Dominican Republic. Team management has determined that he is not the type of guard they are looking for and the organization wishes him well in his future endeavors.

He was able to log two games for the Lightning and he averaged 4.0 ppg and 1.0 apg. He moved to the Lightning after having played for Bucaros Freskaleche (Liga DirecTV). Carter played three games for them in the Liga Sudamericana and averaged 28.3 ppg and 4.0 apg. In 22 games in the Colombian league Maurice put up averages of 28.1 ppg and 6.8 apg.
