Levski Sofia to join Adriatic League in 2015

Belgrade – An announcement was made before the Adriatic League Finals game between KK Cibona Zagreb and KK Cedevita Zagreb. Bulgarian team BC Levski Sofia will be joining the ABA next season pending their fulfillment of all of the conditions stipulated in the contract. The said contract provides for Levski Sofia to join the league for three seasons. The team will be replacing Hungarian team Szolnoki Olajbanyasz.

BC Levski Sofia has won multiple Bulgarian League and Bulgarian Cup championships throughout the team’s 91-year history. The team is also the recent winner of the Balkan League championship this 2014 after defeating Galil Gilboa, 69-75. They previously won the title in 2010.
