Kristaps Valters parts with Fuenlabrada

Kristaps Valters (190 cm) and Mad-Croc Fuenlabrada from Spain’s ACB have agreed to part ways. The Latvian still had one more year left in his contract. He played 22 games for Fuenlabrada and averaged 9.3 ppg and 2.9 apg.

Valters moved to Spain after starting the 2012-13 season playing for the Artland Dragons Quakenbrueck from Germany’s BBL. He managed to play in two games for them in the Eurocup and averaged 6.0 ppg and 3.0 apg. In the German league he played eight games and hit averages of 7.9 ppg and 2.1 apg.
