Kestutis Kemzura to coach CEZ Nymburk

CEZ Basketball Nymburk from the Czech Republic has announced the hiring of Lithuanian Kestutis Kemzura as the team’s new head coach for the 2013-14 season. The team was quick to make adjustments soon after former head coach Ronen Ginzburg opted to part ways with the team. The team

Kemzura has had head coaching experience in Italy, Russia, and most recently in Poland. He coached Asseco Prokom Gdynia this 2012-13, but was released in December 2012. He coached Lokomotiv Kuban from Russia’s PBL from 2009 to 2011.  In 2011 he guided his team to reach the Eurochallenge finals, the Russian PBL semifinals, and the Russian Supercup finals. He was head coach of BC Khimky Moscow Region from Russia’s Superleague from 2007 to 2009.
