Julius Jenkins to stay with Oldenburg

Julius Jenkins (187 cm, Georgia Southern’03) will play in the German BBL again next season after he reached an agreement with EWE Baskets Oldenburg to extend his contract into the 2013/2014 season. The point guard has become a fixture in German Basketball and has played all but one of his 9 pro seasons in the Bundesliga since turning pro a decade ago. During the 2012/2013 season the American played 45 BBL games with Oldenburg and averaged 13.5ppg, 2.6rpg, and 1.9apg. He also featured in 17 EuroChallenge games and logged numbers of 13.6ppg, 1.8rpg, and 2.4apg.

During his career Julius Jenkins has played with ALBA Berlin and Brose Bamberg in Germany as well as one season with Euphony Bree (Belgium, D1).
