John Williamson joins Nilan Bisons

John Williamson (200 cm, Cincinnati’07) has been picked up by the Nilan Bisons Loimaa from Finland’s Korisliiga and the Eurocup. The Nilan Bisons are currently 2-2 in Group H of the Eurocup and are treading to keep their heads above water. Williamson makes for an interesting addition to the team.

Williamson spent the 2012-13 season in France’s ProB, playing for Fos Quest Provence Basket. He managed to play in 34 games and was able to post averages of 15.4 ppg and 5.6 rpg.  Before that he played for the Trotamundos de Carabobo (Venezuela-LPB). In 2011-12 he was with the Adelaide 36ers from Australia’s NBL, but left in November 2011.
