Jamell Harris (206 cm, Eastern Michigan’13) continues to be Asian-bound this 2014-15 season after agreeing to a deal with Al Wehda Mecca (Saudi Arabia-Premier League). Jamell is expected to provide a strong interior presence for the club this season. He had a short sting with Al Kahraba Electricity (Iraq-Superleague) this season, but left the club shortly. Jamell Harris played his rookie season (2013-14) as a pro in Chile’s Liga Nacional for Club Deportivo Valdivia. He played 10 games for the Latin American club and was able to average 9.0 ppg and 6.7 rpg. During the his senior year at Eastern Michigan he produced averages of 4.4 ppg and 4.1 rpg over 33 games. Harris helped his school win the MAC West Division regular season championship in 2012.
