Jaka Lakovic pens with Royal Hali

Royal Hali Gaziantep (Turkey-TBL) has landed veteran Slovenian guard Jaka Lakovic (186 cm) this 2014/15 season. The 35-year-old Lakovic announced his retirement from the Slovenian national team this May. He was a member of the squad from 2001 to 2011 and then again in 2013. Lakovic averaged 3.6 ppg and 1.9 apg in 11 games during the 2013 European Championships. Jaka recently left Sidigas Avellino (Italy-SerieA) where he played out the 2013/14 season. He played 28 games for them that season and was able to produce averages of 10.2 ppg and 4.0 apg.
