Gary Forbes signs with Boca Jrs

Gary Forbes (201 cm, Virginia ’08) has agreed to terms with Aerochaco Boca Juniors (Argentina-Liga A). The move marks the first to Argentina for the 32-year-old guard. He’s been in and out of the NBA and D-league since the 2010/2011 season. His debut in the NBA came with the Denver Nuggets in 2010. The team kept him around the whole season as he appeared in 63 games while scoring 5.2 ppg in a limited bench role. The next season, the Toronto Raptors picked up Forbes and he played with them for 48 games. Forbes scored 6.6 ppg while shooting 34.5 percent from three. The 2011/2012 season with Raptors was the last appearance in the NBA for Forbes. He played in the D-League in the 2013/2014 season with the Springfield Armor and this season with the Long Island Nets. Now, he heads to Argentina to continue his career with the last place team in Liga A.
