More than 60 players keep name in 2017 NBA Draft

2017 NBA DraftIn what experts have been expecting to be a talented class, more than 60 out of 137 players have decided to keep their name in the 2017 NBA Draft. This comes on the  eve of the NBA deadline for players to withdraw and keep their college eligibility.

The 2017 NBA Draft will be held in Brooklyn, New York, on June 22nd. In two rounds of drafting, a total of 60 players will be selected. If you account for the influx of players being selected from Europe and other parts of the world, a good number of the former NCAA players who kept their name in the draft will not be picked by NBA teams.

Several mock drafts project Markelle Fultz of Washington to be selected first-overall by the Boston Celtics. Other notable playes who have declared for the draft include Lonzo Ball of UCLA, De’Aaron Fox of Kentucky, and Jayson Tatum of Duke.
