Facundo Campazzo leaves Real Madrid for the Denver Nuggets

Facundo Campazzo (181 cm, G) has agreed to a two-year deal with the Denver Nuggets. The contract will be signed after Sunday when the NBA lifts the moratorium on new signings.

Campazzo has played for the Argentinian national team in the Olympics twice, the Basketball World Cup twice, has a pair of EuroLeague championships and is known for spectacular passes. And now, he’s decided it’s time to try the NBA with a Denver team that rallied from 3-1 playoff deficits twice last season to make it to the Western Conference finals — where they fell to the eventual champion Los Angeles Lakers.

This season Facundo Campazzo started with Real Madrid and averaged 9.8 ppg and 4.7 aspg in the Spanish ACB Liga Endesa and similar numbers in the Euroleague.
