Ramel Curry joins Panathinaikos

Ramel Curry (192 cm, Cal State Bakersfield’02) has signed with Greek giants Panathinaikos (A1 and Euroleague) for the remainder of the A1 season. Panathinaikos has recently missed out on reaching the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four in London and have bolstered the roster with American Curry.

Curry has been playing this season with BC Donetsk (Ukraine, Superleague, VTB and Eurocup). The 33-year old played a total 60 games with Donetsk and the guard has averaged 14 points per game throughout the campaign. Ramel Curry has had a varied career and has played in the top leagues of Venezuela, Turkey, Italy, and the Dominican Republic and he will now be adding Greece to that list.
