DeJuan Wright inks with Den Bosch

U.S. swingman DeJuan Wright, who finished his senior season at Florida International University this past May, has inked a 1 year deal with Eiffel Towers/Den Bosch. The current Dutch champion was searching the market for a very versatile perimeter player who can play multiple positions at both ends of the floor. Despite “only” standing 6’4 (192 cm), DeJuan was one of the best perimeter rebounders in the nation (NCAA Division One) this past season. During his senior season, he averaged 16.7 ppg and 7.9 rpg while shooting 51.2% from the 2pt and 39.2% from behind the 3pt arc. DeJuan’s 40 inch vertical leap will help allow him to excel in the open court while his high basketball IQ and ability to create will assist his half court game. FIU’s leader in points, rebounds, minutes and field goal percentage was also an All-Sun Belt Conference award winner this past season. DeJuan’s work ethic and passion to win will result to have him very prosperous professional basketball career which will start in The Netherlands. His leadership and belief in doing the right thing was shown worldwide on ESPN when he lead a protest with his teammates for the firing of his head coach, NBA legend Isiah Thomas.
