Elijah Milsap signs with Shanghai Sharks

Elijah Milsap (198 cm, Alabama’10) has signed in China with the Shanghai Sharks. Elijah Milsap last played for the LA Defenders in the NBA D-League. Millsap, whose brother Paul plays for Utah Jazz, will be playing his first season in Chinese basketball. A graduate of the University of Alabama, Millsap went undrafted in the 2010 NBA draft before getting picked up firstly by the Oklahoma City Thunder and then with the LA Lakers. With the Defenders, he averaged 21.2 ppg (and shot close to 40% from three-point range in the process) along with 6.3 rpg and 3.2 apg, which was good enough to get him to the 2012 D-League All-Star game.
