Ebi Ere remains with Cimberio Varese

Ebi Ere (195 cm, Oklahoma’03) is set to remain with Cimberio Varese from Italy (SerieA) for the 2013-14 season. The US-born Nigerian will be entering his second season with the Euroleague team. Ere was a member of the Nigerian National Team in 2006, 2007, and 2009.

In 2012-13 he averaged 13.6 ppg and 4.9 rpg in 39 games in the Italian SerieA. He helped the team finish atop the league standings at the end of the regular season and reach as far as the semifinals of the Italian SerieA in 2013.

In 2011-12 he played for Obradoiro CAB from Spain’s ACB. There he averaged 8.1 ppg and 2.5 rpg in 34 games in the Spanish league.
