Dwayne Mitchell heads to Bucaneros

The Bucaneros de La Guaira from Venezuela’s LPB has added Dwayne Mitchell (196 cm, La-Lafayette’06) for the season. Teh 31-year-old Mitchell began the 2013-14 season playing for Maccabi Rishon Le-Zion from Israel’s Winner League. He played two games for Maccabi Rishon before making the move and was able to average 2.5 ppg and 3.0 rpg.

Dwayne played the 2012-13 season for MBC Mykolav from the Ukrainian Superleague. In 37 games Mitchell hit averages of 13.7 ppg and 5.9 rpg. He helped his team reach the Ukrainian Cup semifinals in 2013.
