Djibril Kante joins Malvin Montevideo

Djibril Kante (205 cm, Indiana StateUniversity´02) will lend is huge experience to Malvin Montevideo (Uruguay, LUB) this season. The center has spent much of his career in South America but this will be his first time in Uruguay. The American has represented Cordoba, Corrientes, Monte Hermoso, and Bahia Blanca in Argentina and Concepcion in Chile.

Last season the 32-year old started the campaign playing for Regatas Corrientes (Argentina, LigaA) and averaged 7.0 points and 4.8 rebounds from 13 games. Later he moved to Atenas Cordoba (LigaA) where he played 24 games and averaged 9.2 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.

Djibril Kante has won the Argentinean Cup and the LigaA championship during his career.
