DJ Kennedy signs with MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg

DJ Kennedy (198 cm, St. Johns ’11) is on the move to MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg (Germany-BBL). This is a return to Ludwigsburg for Kennedy. He last played with the German team during the 2014/2015 season where he scored 17.8 ppg and grabbed 6.2 rpg. Ludwigsburg hopes Kennedy can repeat his strong performance for the rest of the season. The team currently is in eighth in the BBL with a 12-12 record.

Kennedy is making the move back to Germany after playing with Guangzhou LL (China-CBA) this season. He scored 23.1 ppg and recorded 10.8 rpg with 2.3 spg in the Chinese league. Last season, Kennedy played with Enisey Krasnoyarsk (Russia-VTB) for 23 games. He played with the Russian team after attempting to make it into the NBA with the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets signed Kennedy to play with the team in the preseason.
