Damir Rancic to finish season with Helios

Helios Domzale (Slovenia-Telemach League) has agreed to sign Damir Rancic (199 cm) for the remainder of the season. Rancic last played for KK Zagreb of Croatia. He played 22 games for the team in the Adriatic League and had averages of 7.6 ppg and 1.5 rpg. In nine games in the Euroleague he averaged 6.1 ppg and 1.4 rpg, while doing 6.5 ppg and 1.4 rpg in 14 games in the Croatian League.

Helios is currently 3rd in the Telemach League standings with a record of 8-3. Zlatorog Lasko and KK Maribor Messer are tied for first with identical 9-2 records.

The Croatian guard, Damir Rancic has played in Greece (Panellinios Lamia), Spain (Blusens Monbus Obradoiro CAB), Croatia (KK Zadar), and Slovenia (Union Olimpija Ljubljana).
