After playing eight games for BCM Gravelines Dunkerque Grand Littoral (France-ProA), D.J. Kennedy (198 cm, St. John’s’11) is parting ways with the team. He played four of those games in the Eurocup and he averaged 11.0 ppg and 3.0 rpg. The other four games were played out in the French ProA and there he averaged 9.5 ppg and 2.8 rpg.

He spent the 2012-13 season in the NBA D-League. First, he was again on a preseason try-out with an NBA team. This time it was with the Memphis Grizzlies. Kennedy later transferred to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers where averaged 14.3 ppg and 7.1 rpg in 20 games.
