Curtis Kelly opts for Vanoli Cremona

Curtis Kelly (205 cm, Kansas State’11) is headed to Italy after signing a one-season deal with Vanoli Cremona this 2013-14. He played his rookie and sophomore season as a pro in Israel for Hapoel Tel-Aviv. Talks fell through for him to extend his career with the Israeli club, so Kelly changed agents and opted for a change in scenery.

In 2012-13 Kelly played 30 games for Hapoel Tel Aviv in the Israeli Winner League and averaged 13.5 ppg and 5.4 rpg. In his rookie season with the team, Curtis averaged 15.9 ppg and 8.3 rpg, even led the league in blocks that season with 2.2 bpg. He also helped his team win the Israeli National League Championship in 2012. He played a dozen games for them in the Balkan League and hit averages of 16.3 ppg and 6.8 rpg.
