Chinemelu Elonu goes to China

Chinemelu Elonu (206 cm, Texas A&M’09) is on his way to China after agreeing to play with Jiangsu Tongxi (NBL) next season. The forward played with Tofas Bursa (Turkey, TBL) during the 2012/2013 season and featured in 32 league games and got averages of 9.8ppg, while also finishing 4th in rebounds with 7.5rpg and 5th in blocks with 1.0bpg. The Nigerian also played in 11 EuroChallenge games and averaged 10.5 points while finishing 3rd with rebounds on 9.0 per game throughout the competition.

Chinemelu Elonu has previously played in the French ProA, Greek A1, Turkish TBL, and Spanish LEB Gold since turning pro in 2009.
