Bordeaux replaces departing John Ford with Nate Carter

French Pro B team JSA Bordeaux counted on John Ford (207 cm, Colorado State’00) for the 3rd season in a row but in a surprise move he decided to walk away from his contract, retire as an active player, and accept a job as an assistant coach in college. But Bordeaux quickly found a replacement, and a very good one. Nate Carter (201 cm, Oklahoma’07) who was the Pro B MVP in 2011 with Nanterre.
