Blake Ahearn

Blake Ahearn (188 cm, Missouri St.’07) is taking his NBA-caliber talents to China to play for the DongGuan New Century Leopards (China-CBA). Ahearn has been a professional since he finished his four years at Missouri St. in 2005, compiling a 13.0 points per game average over 129 collegiate games, including 16.2 points per game as a junior and 15.4 points per game as a senior. Most recently, Ahearn suited up for the Reno Bighorns of the NBA D-League, where he led the league in scoring in 2011-12 with a 23.8 points per game average over 37 games. He left the Bighorns in March of 2012 to join the Utah Jazz on a 10-day contract, but was picked up for the remainder of the season. Utah didn’t resign him, but the Indiana Pacers did, then waived him before the 2012-13 season started. He’s also seen limited floor time for the Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs.
