Andrew Drevo released by Artland Dragons

Andrew Drevo (202 cm, Nebraska’04) has been released by the Artland Dragons (Germany-BBL) after just six games into the 2012-13 season. Drevo was under a two month contract with the Dragons with the option to extend to the end of the season, which the team has decided not to exercise. He was averaging 8.8 points per contest for the Dragons when he was released and was shooting 50% (11 for 22) from inside the arc, 50% (seven for 14) from outside the arc and 62.5% (10 for 16) from the free throw line. Drevo spent the 2011-12 season with the Iowa Energy squad in the NBA’s D-League, where he averaged 11.4 points per game over 50 contests, 37 of which he was a starter.
