Aleks Maric added by Maccabi Tel-Aviv

Maccabi Electra Tel-Aviv (Israel-Winner League) is bringing in veteran Australian player Aleks Maric (211 cm, Nebraska’08) for the upcoming 2014-15 season. The 29-year-old Maric played for Lokomotiv Kuban (Russia-VTB) over the last couple of seasons. In 2013-14 he played 23 games for them during their run in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague and was able to put up averages of 6.1 ppg and 3.7 rpg. Aleks also played 22 games for Lokomotiv in the VTB United league and there he posted averages of 6.7 ppg and 4.0 rpg. He helped his team reach the Russian Cup finals and the VTB United league quarterfinals in 2014.
