Al Harrington retires from Basketball

Al Harrington

Former NBA forward Al Harrington (206 cm) has officially announced his retirement from basketball after 16 years in the league. He is now a member of the staff of the Denver Nuggets. Harrington last saw action in 2014/15 with Fujian Quanzhou Bank (China-CBA). He played 10 games for the Chinese club and averaged 32.4 ppg and 10.7 rpg.  His last stint in the NBA was in the 2013/14 season. Al signed with the Washington Wizards after being released by the Orlando Magic. In 40 games he averaged 6.1 ppg and 2.4 rpg.

Through Harrington’s career in the NBA he registered averages of 13.5 ppg and 5.6 rpg. He spent seven seasons with the Indiana Pacers, his longest tenure with an NBA franchise. Harrington also played for the Atlanta Hawks, New York Knicks, Golden State Warriors, to name a few.
