Aaron Johnson to Umana Reyer Venezia

Italian Serie A team Umana Reyer Venezia has recently improved its backcourt with the addition of Aaron Johnson (173 cm, UAB’11) this 2013-14. Johnson is coming off a stint in the NBA D-League with the Bakersfield Jam. He logged 18 games for the Jam and averaged 5.8 ppg and 3.7 apg.

In 2012-13 Johnson played for Vanoli Cremona (Italy-SerieA), so isn’t unfamiliar with Italian hoops. In 29 games Aaron managed averages of 6.7 ppg and 3.2 apg. His run there was an upgrade as he played his rookie season as a pro in Italy’s Lega Due for Assi Basket Ostuni.
